I'll Have What She's Having
featuring Karli Koinzan
This first cocktail is called Business Thyme. It’s a riff on the classic Between the Sheets that I collaborated on during my time at O Bar. I chose to share this one for a few reasons; it’s a boozy yet refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for warmer weather, I love names/puns, and it was a collab with my then boss/now fiancé (wink wink), and I’m a sentimental sap like that. It’s more or less a rum-laced sidecar. I don’t think it’s the most balanced classic since it lacks sweetness, so I added a thyme-infused honey to turn a rather tart and dry cocktail into a juicier one.
