Breakfast Oats...Two Ways

Myself, I’ve never been much of an early morning eater. But I’m a big fan of brunch and like to make hearty breakfast bowls to nourish me through the afternoon. When I told a friend I was making oatmeal for this issue, he rolled his eyes with derision. “How fun,” he said. Oats have gotten a bad rap thanks to the soggy, bland bowls we’ve all forced down at the family’s breakfast table or the hotel’s free breakfast buffet. But the oatmeal recipes I’m about to present to you are anything but boring. Filled with flavor and antioxidants like green tea, miso, turmeric and ginger, you’ll fall in love with these nutrient boosted breakfast (or lunch or dinner) oats.
