Pork Miso

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 1 Serving(s)
  • 1 instant ramen package, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • ¼ cup chopped scallions
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon red miso paste
  • sliced jalapeno
  • 7 minute hard boiled egg

Preparation

Mix white wine and both red and white until dissolved. Set aside. Heat oil over medium-high. Add garlic, ginger, and scallions, and cook until fragrant, about one minute. Add pork, cook until lightly pink. Add wine mixture, and turn heat to medium. Allow pork to fully cook, and wine reduction to reduce to a thick sauce. Add to 1/3 cup prepared pork mixture to prepared ramen. Top with egg, fresh scallions, & freshly sliced jalapeno. Serve warm.

*7 Minute Hard Boiled Egg

Add egg to boiling water for seven minutes. Carefully remove from water, place into bowl, run cold water over eggs, and allow to sit in cold water until time to peel.
