- 1 pint vanilla bean ice cream
- 3 fresh peaches, peeled & sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ¼ cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ cup dark rum
Preparation
Brown butter in medium-sized saute pan over medium-high heat. Add both sugars and allow to melt. Add salt and cinnamon and carefully add whipping cream whisking vigorously (mixture may splatter). Add rum and peaches and allow to reduce until thick. Serve over ice cream.
