Parsley Avocado Rose Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole grain bread (or gluten-free)
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • Parsley to taste
  • Lemon or lime juice to taste
  • Sprinkle of coarse, Himalayan sea salt

Preparation

Place bread in toaster or toaster oven until golden brown. Lay avocado half face down, slicing as thinly as possible. Press on either side of avocado to elongate slices into a straight, overlapping line. Begin with one end and curl into a rose. Top with hemp seeds, parsley, lemon or lime juice to taste, and sea salt.
