Blueberry Basil Syrup
- 12 oz blueberries
- 6-8 basil leaves, roughly chopped
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
Kombucha Lemonade
- 2 oz Blueberry Basil Syrup
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 16 oz Kombucha (I prefer GT’s Synergy Kombucha)
Preparation
Blueberry Basil Syrup
Combine the syrup ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium, stirring occasionally. Simmer until sugar is dissolved. Take off heat and let cool. Strain syrup and transfer to a pourable measuring cup or other easy-pour container.
Kombucha Lemonade
Combine ingredients with fresh ice. Stir well and serve with a lemon slice.
