Smoky Bloody Mary

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup tomato juice, strained
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • pinch of smoked salt like Maldon (plus more for the rim)
  • pinch of cracked black pepper
  • 2 dashes of celery bitters
  • fresh dill for garnish
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 pickle spear for garnish

Preparation

In a cocktail mixing glass, add first nine ingredients. Add ice and stir to combine. Rub the rim of a pint glass with lemon wedge and dip glass in salt. Add ice and pickle spear. Strain the Bloody Mary into the prepared glass. Squeeze lemon wedge and drop in. Add celery bitters and garnish with fresh dill.
