  • 4 ounces bourbon
  • 2 slices of ripe persimmon
  • 2 teaspoons barrel-aged maple syrup
  • 2 strips of orange peel
  • 8 dashes citrus bitters

Preparation

In a mixing pitcher, muddle persimmon slices, maple syrup, and bitters. Add bourbon and fill with ice. Stir vigorously with a bar spoon until very cold.
