IPA Fizz

IPAs, love them or hate them, are everywhere. Although they are one of my favorite styles of beer to drink, they can be a bit of a palette wrecker at times. Once you try the hoppy bitterness it makes other beer seems really sweet. I have always enjoyed slightly bitter flavors such as those found in aperitifs like Cardamaro and Aperol (Campari’s friendlier, less bitter cousin). This summer I fell in love with Aperol and began to experiment with adding it to a whole host of drinks. I found that it paired very well with the punchy-citrusy bitterness of most IPAs.
