Easy Mulled Cider

Chef David Henry and I figured out a way to make mulled cider or wine quick and easy. Strong Tonic syrup, made in Oklahoma, contains a lot of the spices commonly found in hot drinks and works perfectly.”

Mix all together and heat on the stove. Garnish with apple slices.


  • 7 cups apple juice, Martinelli's is best
  • 2½ cups Calvados
  • ¾ cup rum
  • 1 cup Metaxa Five Star
  • 2 cups Strong Tonic tonic syrup
